Ensure that the Avotape is securely attached to the cable before removing the red foil. Then fold the cable until the foil begins to crinkle. Now you can easily remove the foil!

When should I apply Avotape to my cable?

We strongly recommend that you apply Avotape to the cable just before you need to use it. If the cable is stored with Avotape on, the red liner may come loose, and the cable can stick to itself.

Can I use Avotape on fabric and silicone cables?

Unfortunately, Avotape cannot be used on fabric or silicone cables. We are working on a solution!

Which surfaces are best for Avotape?

Avotape can be used on all dry, clean, and sealed surfaces.

Which surfaces are not good for Avotape?

We do not recommend attempting to attach cables to unsealed surfaces such as untreated concrete, brick, or wood.

Additionally, we do not recommend trying to attach cables to wood surfaces with an oil finish, or where furniture polish or wax has been applied.
